Yankee Shutter Company is New England’s shutter specialist.
We are a three-generation family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1961.

Yankee Shutter has served as the Northeast’s premier shutter supplier for almost sixty years. While times have changed and wood shutters have given way to vinyl, the benchmarks of Yankee’s business model have remained the same: top-quality products and top-notch service.

In 1990, we began offering vinyl shutters in response to the market’s push in that direction. Using components from Perfect Shutters, Inc., we are able to offer our customers the widest variety of colors, styles, and sizes of vinyl shutters in the industry. We are able to deliver most of our products to our New England customers in a fraction of the time and at lower costs than the “discount” building supply warehouses.

Our website came online in 2000, and was informational only up until 2017. At that time, we developed an online shopping area that allowed us to offer our services beyond the borders of New England. As we joined dozens of other online shutter sales venues, our goal was to differentiate Yankee’s website from the rest by creating a simple interface that would allow access to the most complete selection of shutter styles and options available in one place.

While there are some truly unique applications that will require personal attention, many of the custom options are now available on the website, and more options are currently being developed.
